Engagement, Inspiration, Achievement

“To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable.”

– attributed to Ludwig Van Beethoven

Whether or not the above quote came from the great figure to whom it is often linked, the thought and meaning behind it resonate with Dr. Rucinski and his pedagogical creed. Encouraging students to find their own voice, style, and repertoire is a top priority, whether in Dr. Kris's private studio or Professor Rucinski's classroom.

Working with students of all ages, levels, and musical tastes, Kris Rucinski has earned a reputation for equipping students with the foundational technique and knowledge to learn and perform the most important music: that which the student loves. In addition to writing and arranging a broad variety of styles and sources for his students, Kristofer shares his expertise in performance and composition, helping students pursue the broadest spectrum of their musical dreams.
